[netperf-talk] Version 2.5.0 is now official

Folks,

I have pulled the trigger on the 2.5.0 release of netperf.  You can
grab a tar or zip file of the sources from:

ftp://ftp.netperf.org/netperf

or via a subversion client pointed at:

http://www.netperf.org/svn/netperf2/tags/netperf-2.5.0

The manual at
http://www.netperf.org/svn/netperf2/tags/netperf-2.5.0/doc/netperf.html
has been updated for the first time in quite a while.

A brief description of the changes in 2.5.0 can be found in the
Release Notes at:

Netperf 2.5.0 has had brief testing under Linux, HP-UX 11.31, AIX
6.something and Solaris 10.  It is entirely possible that 2.5.0 will
not compile under Windows.  As patches come-in I anticipate a 2.5.1
release to address Windows issues.
