Hmm, I wonder if when I had to bring netperf.org back from the dead if I lost 
something wrt having the DTD online.  I thought though there was a libxml2 way 
to "map" that to a local file though.  Sorry, my libxml2 knowledge cache has 
gotten *really* stale. :(

As for some of the rest, yes, top of trunk is best, I'd suggest a system call 
trace if you can do one.
