If the openss7 folks didn't add an --enable-sctp to their ./configure script,
then there is no way to run SCTP tests with those binaries.

Netperf has never supported mixed versions between netperf and netserver, and to
get SCTP tests, both netperf and netserver have to be compiled after a
./configure --enable-sctp....

I don't recall what changes the openss7 folks made - you will have to ask them -
but in theory if "SCTP is SCTP" then you should be able to take a 2.4.5 source
tar from ftp.netperf.org (or a top-of-trunk svn snapshot from
http://www.netperf.org/svn/netperf2/trunk

and ./configure --enable-sctp , compile and use those binaries.

If the openss7 folks provide a source package in addition to binaries, you could
also go that route, but 2.3.7 is rather old these days...

happy benchmarking,
