Sorry,
I should have added that I am using netperf-2.4.4 which I downloaded
from the site(netperf/netperf-2.4.4.tar.gz)..top of the trunk? I don't
have the DDK currently(but did have MsVS) so I haven't tried the DDK
yet. I'm looking to get it and try.(fyi Cygwin uses the gcc compiler
they provide)

Some followup-questions:
*) Which netperf bits? 2.4.4? 2.4.3? top-of-trunk?
*) have you tried using the DDK rather than VS?
