Thanks for the analysis.  I've mentioned it to somebody at Apple
(BCC'ed, in case he wants to comment).  I'm pretty sure it is a
MacOSX bug, as I see it only with MacOSX (and not Solaris, Linux,
FreeBSD, etc), and it seems to happen regardless of the linux
kernel version on the receiving side.

For now I've just commented the last recv out of my copy of netperf
and will live with the slightly inaccurate results..
