Yes.  If there is no --enable-cpuutil on the ./configure command line, 
the configure script will attempt to pick a method on its own based on 
the OS information.  You will see that in the output of the configure 
script when it will talk about checking what CPU utilization method to 
use, and report one picked via "auto"
