What netperf4 offers in this area is a harness - one into which you 
would plug-in your code to send/receive email messages and whatnot.  So, 
out of the box, even if I thought the harness were fully cooked (it is 
safe to eat lets say, but not fully cooked) there would still be work - 
non-trivial work - at your end to get an "email module" created and 
pluged-in.
