[netperf-talk] Layer 4-7 Testing

Hi,
	I'm currently trying to find an open source tool to do layer 4-7
traffic generation. I was wondering if it is possible for netperf to do
this? It sounds like netperf4 will be geared more towards this than the
2.4.x version. Is there an ETA for netperf4? Any help would be
appreciated.
