Hi all,

My apologies for repeat posting

I ran a TCP_RR test over ethernet using netperf v.2.4.3 for 12 hours.
Before starting this long test, I ran the test for it's default duration
of 10 seconds, in which it returned the
output successfully.
However, when I started this test for a duration of 12 hours, even after
the time was finished, the test failed to
give the output. I wanted to know if this was a known issue with netperf.
Following are the commands I used:

On server:
netserver -L 192.168.201.40

On Client:
neperf -H 192.168.201.40 -L 192.168.201.10 -t TCP_RR -l 43200

Both the machines over which this test was run were running RHEL5 with
netperf v. 2.4.3
I was able to run TCP_STREAM and UDP_STREAM tests over these machines
successfully before,
but I hit this issue while running TCP_RR.
Also, when I turned on the debug switch of netperf, it did start a
timer, but even after the duration expired,
no sig_alarm signal was recieved.
I also tried this out with v.2.4.4 but met with same result.
