Folks -

For netperf4 under Windows, it is going to be necessary to either have 
netperf4 use wrappers for all the "threads" stuff to use either Windows 
or Pthreads, or go ahead and try to use Glib.

Since there is the ultimate desire of having a GUI, GTK+ seems likely in 
netperf4's future which I presume would mean a dependency on glib anyway.

Unless there is a _strong_ objection, backed-up by assistance with the 
wrapping, netperf4 is going to go glib.  So, if you have a favorite 
platform without glib support better speak now :)
