Hello rick,
I wanted to test the packet loss of my ethernet driver in the board when
forwarding packets from the same.
I referred to the link http://www.netperf.org/svn/netperf2/trunk/doc
<http://www.netperf.org/svn/netperf2/trunk/doc> but i didn't get sufficient
info on this. In the mailing list, I came across a mail which I have added
below, speaking about a possible way to measure the packet loss. What I
would like to know is, whether there is any test specific commands that can
be used to measure the packet loss or it can be measured only using the
below said way? Please comment on this.

More specifically, the number of sends the sender thinks it completed vs the
number of receives. Keep in mind that if the sender is faster than the
network,
and does not have "intra-stack" flow control it ispossible for the sender to
report a rate higher than the network could support :)
