Netperf as it ships does not already know about things like MLPPP, MLFR. 
  Its infrastructure though should be amenable to adding test suites 
that do know about those sorts of things if you needed to measure them 
directly.  "Link-layer" as it were.

Otherwise, you can treat them just like any other link and use regular 
tests like TCP_RR, TCP_STREAM to see how those go.
