Folks -
Those of you using HP-UX as your primary development platform may be interested
to know that the 1.2.3 version of subversion does appear to compile, and an svn
client binary does appear to work against the repository under
http://www.netperf.org/svn/netperf[24] (*) .
If you happen to be inside the HP firewalls, a copy of the original source
tarfile can be found at ftp://tardy.cup.hp.com/ otherwise, just follow the
links from http://subversion.tigris.org/
If you want to test against a "crash and burn" repository I have created a
simple one under http://www.netperf.org/svn/sandbox/ it has a single text file
called "foo" (and the usual trunk/ tags/ branches/ paths)
The subversion server code on www.netperf.org is actually 1.1.something. I
understand that 1.2.something introduces support for more WebDAV (?) stuff and
that might make things easier or more interesting for folks with that embedded
in their native OS filesystem stuff? Anyway, I may update at some point if
folks think it would be helpful.
happy benchmarking,

(*) doing the usual "configure; make; make install" sequence. strictly speaking
I only tested against the "sandbox" repository, and only with an svn client
compiled on HP-UX 11.11. The client has many shared lib dependencies (they come
along with the tar file) so simply putting an svn binary out there isn't enough.
